Fuel Girls 2024 recap: what a year!
Hello, fellow Fuel Girls enthusiasts!
I was going to open this blog with one of my favourite Von phrases “HEY FUEL FANS, its Von here, one of the founding fathers of the Fuel Girls” but Wren has taken the p*** out of me solidly for one year regarding this opener on our socials, so I’m trying out something new for 2025 🤣.
As we bid farewell to 2024, what better time to reflect on the journey we’ve embarked upon this year. From performances at international arenas, secret private parties, and another EPIC HHN, to welcoming new talents into our ever-growing family, 2024 was nothing short of spectacular.
Masters of Dirt: Igniting the Year 🔥
Our year kicked off with a bang as we joined the adrenaline-fuelled Masters of Dirt tour across Europe. Performing in cities like Graz, Salzburg, and Vienna, we brought our signature fire and pyro acts to the forefront, complementing the high-octane freestyle motocross stunts. The synergy between roaring engines and our blazing performances created an atmosphere of pure exhilaration. We’re not sure there is a better start to the year than that, we challenge you to name one!
Welcoming New Flames: Wren, Meg, Cat & Chelsy
In 2023 we held auditions to find new talent and in 2024, we had the pleasure of expanding our troupe by introducing four phenomenal performers: Wren, Meg, Cat & Chelsy.
- Wren: A fire-breathing musician hailing from the South Coast of the UK, Wren brings a unique blend of fire artistry and musical talent. Her skills include contortion, fire eating, and fire poi spinning. Wren can even ride a unicycle, and when she’s not singing/bending or throwing flames, you can catch her riding her favourite toy – her Harley.
- Meg: With a background in professional dance and acting, Meg’s repertoire spans fire breathing, angle grinding, and stilt walking. Her dynamic performances have added a fresh spark to our shows, captivating audiences worldwide. She’s gorgeous, she’s outspoken and she’s a 100% certified total babe!
- Cat and Chelsy, are a dynamic aerial duo renowned for their synchronised aerial performances and fiery acrobatics. Their unique blend of skills and chemistry has added a new dimension to our shows. It’s hard to tell them apart, but if you talk to them long enough, Cat will start talking about her love of cats, and it’s easy enough from there 🤣.
Halloween Horror Nights: Nocturnal Circus
As autumn leaves began to fall, we took centre stage alongside the incredible cast and crew at Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights with our all-new show, “Nightmare Fuel: Nocturnal Circus.” This marked the fourth iteration of the “Halloween Nightmare Fuel” series, and it was our most ambitious yet. Audiences were captivated by a dark circus theme, complete with sinister curses, breathtaking pyrotechnics, and aerial stunts that pushed the boundaries of performance art. It’s such an honour to be part of a show as big as this, and being asked to come back for a fourth year was the best news we received last year! Here’s to many more!

Expanding Our Horizons: International Highlights
Our 2024 journey was marked by performances in some of our favourite destinations, both familiar and new.
- Hydra, Greece: We had the honor of performing at a grand-scale private party on the picturesque island of Hydra. The event was a pyrotechnic extravaganza, with our fire performances lighting up the Mediterranean night, creating unforgettable memories for all attendees.

- Barcelona, Spain: The vibrant city of Barcelona welcomed us for a super exclusive private party. Collaborating with some truly amazing clients, we tailored our performances to match the city’s dynamic energy, blending our fiery acts with the rich cultural tapestry of Catalonia.
- Seychelles: Returning to the idyllic shores of the Seychelles was a dream come true. Our performances amidst the tropical paradise were as enchanting as ever. To all potential bookers reading this, we’re always ready for some summer sun; let’s make magic happen together!
- Romania: One of the largest medieval festivals in Romania, annually organised in July, in the Oradea Fortress. The event revives the time of knights and princesses, gathering hundreds of fighters from all around the world, in historical battle reenactments and full-contact jousting tournaments. The Fuel Girls got to perform alongside the festivities, and we have to say – it was one of our ultimate 2024 highlights!
The opening of our new MERCH STORE!
We are thrilled to announce the launch of our official merchandise store, offering a range of exclusive branded apparel, accessories, and collectables for our fans and supporters. Our collection features unique items inspired by us, alongside an exclusive range of limited edition, Fuel girl designed, Nightmare Fuel merch. There will be plenty more planned in 2025 for the store – watch this SPACE!
Strengthening Our Core: Props Workshops and Team Bonding
Beyond the glitz and glamour of our performances, 2024 was a year of introspection and growth for the Fuel Girls. We dedicated time to props workshops, where our team collaborated to master new equipment and innovate our routines.
One of the core goals for our team is keeping our performances fresh, delivering something new to the stages and ensuring we are always at the TOP of our game. These workshops really help push this, as we strive to get better and better! 💪🏻
These sessions were more than just practice; they were pivotal in fostering team bonding and refining our group dance dynamics. Through shared challenges and collective creativity, we reignited our passion and unveiled fresh, exhilarating elements in our shows.
Looking Ahead to 2025
As we set our sights on 2025, we’re filled with excitement for the adventures that await. Our calendar is already brimming with events, including:
- Arena Cross OVO Arena Wembley London: Kicking off the year on January 18th, we’ll be igniting the arena alongside some of the worlds best freestyle motocross riders!
- Tattoo Freeze at Telford International Centre: Join us on February 1st and 2nd for a weekend of ink and fire – and of course new shows! Catch Teta, Shannon and Meg on the Saturday and Sunday.
- Masters of Dirt Tour: We’ll be returning to cities like Ljubljana, Zurich, and Vienna, bringing our explosive performances back to the European stage. With more dates than ever before AND a new Fuel Girls take on the show – WATCH THIS SPACE for what’s about to come, on one of our favourite shows of the year.
- Gods of Ink Tattoo Convention: The premier event in the tattoo industry, bringing together top artists and enthusiasts from around the globe. Held annually in Frankfurt, this convention is renowned for its exceptional artistry and vibrant atmosphere. In 2025, we had the honour of performing again at this esteemed convention with something BRAND SPANKING NEW!
- Monomaniac: A brand new show for the Fuel Girls, set to take place on May 3, 2025, at the renowned GelreDome in Arnhem, Netherlands. This event is poised to be Europe’s largest Freestyle Motocross (FMX) spectacle, uniquely combining FMX and indoor trial disciplines for the first time.
For our fans in the USA, as always we have to keep things seriously under wraps, we can’t give away TOO much, but we can say this, we will be seeing more of you in 2025 – that Is for SURE!!!
